Founder’s Story
From Humble Beginnings to Industry Recognition
Founded by Nik Tan in 2017, Secure Waterproofing started with a small but highly skilled team determined to change how waterproofing was done. Nik, together with colleagues who shared his values, saw an opportunity to build a company on trust, transparency, and quality workmanship.
Early on, challenges such as staffing, permits, and winning new clients tested their resolve. But with persistence, referrals, and an unwavering belief in doing things right, Secure Waterproofing grew steadily. Today, with 30+ employees and over 3,000 completed projects, the company has earned national recognition through the SME Excellence Business Award 2022/2023.
