At Secure Waterproofing, we believe in doing more than just protecting buildings—we also aim to support the people who live in them. Recently, our team had the opportunity to contribute to a meaningful initiative: assisting needy residents in a Toa Payoh HDB flat suffering from severe spalling concrete.
Spalling concrete is far more than just a cosmetic issue. As highlighted in recent news reports, falling concrete debris poses serious safety risks and can cause severe injuries to occupants. Left unaddressed, deteriorating ceilings quickly become a hazardous environment for vulnerable households.
To prevent further danger, we deployed our specialized spalling repair team to carry out critical ceiling restoration works. By chipping away loose concrete, treating exposed reinforcement bars, and applying high-grade patch mortar, our team successfully reinforced the ceiling structure.
It’s a small act on our part, but one we hope will provide the residents with a safe, secure, and worry-free living environment.
